There are a small number of cases with inconsistent monthly relationships among people within a household. When comparing RREL values of household members in relation to 1) other relationship information, 2) parent pointers (EPNPAR1, RPNPAR1_EHC, EPNPAR2, RPNPAR2_EHC), type of parent (EPAR1TYP, RPAR1TYP_EHC, EPAR2TYP, RPAR2TYP_EHC), or cohabiting partner pointers (EPNCOHAB, EPNCOHAB_EHC), these inconsistencies, such as nonreciprocal or missing pointers, may become apparent. Data users should be aware of these inconsistencies when looking at household relationships.
