There are a few person-level records where the universe of a respondent’s year of birth (TCBYR_1-6), or year of entry into multiple partner fertility (TMPF_YR) is correct but is inconsistent with the corresponding status flags (ACBYR_1-6, AMPF_YR). Additionally, a few person-level records have edited fertility information for RCB_UNION but should not be “in universe” for the variable. Data users should be aware of these cases when analyzing Fertility data.
