When comparing ERELRPE or RREL values of household members in relation to other relationship information, parent pointers (EPNPAR1, RPNPAR1_EHC, EPNPAR2, RPNPAR2_EHC), type of parent (EPAR1TYP, RPAR1TYP_EHC, EPAR2TYP, RPAR2TYP_EHC), marital status (EMS, EMS_EHC), spouse pointers (EPNSPOUS, EPNSPOUS_EHC), cohabiting partner pointers (EPNCOHAB, EPNCOHAB_EHC), and family type (RFAMKIND) . Data users should be aware of this issue when analyzing relationship data, such as nonreciprocal or missing pointers, or inconsistencies in the presence of Type 2 people at a certain month.
