NOTE: This presentation of data focuses on summarized aggregates of counts and characteristics associated with first names and last names, and the data do not in any way identify any specific individuals.

Tabulations of all first names and last names occurring 100 or more times in the 2020 Census returns are provided in the files listed below. The first two links explain the methodology used for tabulating and editing names data.

The next three links provide tables of the top 1,000 first names and last names.  The second group of three Excel files provides the complete data sets for 53,615 first names and 156,621 last names.  The final set of three files, intended for research purposes, also provides the complete first name and last name tables, but without removal of negative numbers that are generated as part of the disclosure avoidance process.
