CPS ASEC Redesign & Processing Changes: Income & Poverty
The CPS ASEC is the source of official national estimates of income and poverty, collecting data on individual, family and household income from over 50 sources. In 2014, the survey instrument was redesigned to better capture retirement income and assets, and more recently changes in survey processing and advances in imputation methods have been incorporated.
