Phase 4.0 Cycle 02 Household Pulse Survey: February 6 – March 4

The tables below show data collected from February 6 – March 4, 2024. Unlike previous phases, this latest version of the survey will utilize a continuous four-week collection and dissemination approach.

All tables show data for the nation, each of the fifty states, plus Washington, D.C., and the fifteen largest metropolitan areas.

The Household Pulse Survey was designed to deploy quickly and efficiently, collecting data to measure how emergent issues are impacting U.S. households from a social and economic perspective.  Information on the methodology and reliability of these estimates can be found in the source and accuracy statements for each data release.

Data users interested in state level sample sizes, the number of respondents, weighted response rates, and occupied housing unit coverage ratios, can consult the quality measures file, available at the same location and below.

For Phase 4 Cycle 02, the Census Bureau sent invitations to 1,055,602 households and received a total of 71,152 responses, for a weighted response rate of 6.8%.
