Can you remove my address from the American Community Survey (ACS) sample?

No. It is not possible to compute statistical information that is reliable without a high degree of participation from addresses selected to participate in the ACS. Information on Americans who live at the addresses selected to be in sample is very important for Federal, state, and local governments to allocate resources among the population. An address may not be removed from the ACS as the validity of the sample data would quickly deteriorate if selected households were exempted.
