National income data are produced annually from the Current Population Survey’s Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC) and published in the Income in the United States report. The main body of the report is based on money income, which is pretax. Beginning with the 2020 report, post-tax household income estimates are included as an appendix to the report. All of the Income in the United States reports from the Current Population Survey are available at Consumer Income Reports (P60).
