How will the U.S. Census Bureau use the information collected by the American Community Survey (ACS)?

The Census Bureau uses the information you provide to the ACS for statistical purposes only and cannot publish or release information that would identify you and your household. Your information will be used in combination with information from other households to produce statistics for your community. These statistics are available to the public. Title 13, United States Code (U.S.C.), prohibits the Census Bureau from giving or selling your personal information to anyone, including companies, other federal agencies, and law enforcement.
