AHS datasets contain tens of thousands of records and almost two thousand variables. Most users access AHS data with a statistical analysis package. Neither HUD nor the Census Bureau endorses any specific commercial products for use with the AHS. Statistical packages common among our users include SAS, SPSS, R, and Stata, but that is not a complete list.
