Introduction

This report uses Wave 2 from World Health Organization’s Study on global AGEing and adult health (SAGE), following an earlier Census Bureau report using Wave 1 of SAGE data and examines the trends and patterns of health and well-being of the older populations. It provides information on a selection of health outcomes and their impacts, including health status, noncommunicable diseases, risk factors, disability, and health insurance coverage.
