In this video tutorial we show you how to access data from the 2020 Island Areas Censuses on data.census.gov.

On July 20th, the U.S. Census Bureau released the 2020 Island Areas Demographic and Housing Characteristics File (DHC), which includes data for American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

This release provides additional demographic, social, economic, and housing characteristics for Island Areas, including lower-level geographies like census tracts, block groups, blocks, ZCTA's, and island-specific geographies. The release includes population topics like race, family type, occupation, and housing characteristics, such as computer and internet use, and vacancy status.
