The Pre-Enumeration Suvey (PrES) was conducted in conjunction with the 1986 Census of Central Los Angeles County. It was the first test of this method of measuring census coverage. Coverage measurement is evaluation of how many persons are missed (undercounted) of duplicated (overcounted) known coverage measurement survey is the Post Enumeration Survey (PES).
