SEPT. 13, 2018 — Today, the U.S. Census Bureau released new estimates from the 2017 American Community Survey on counties impacted by Hurricane Florence. The Census Bureau produces timely local demographic and economic data that are important to emergency management efforts for Hurricane Florence’s potentially affected areas. Civilian noninstitutionalized population less than 65,000 are not included in this spreadsheet. [Excel <1.0MB]

Demographic and economic data on the areas impacted are also available. Data tools, such as OnTheMap for Emergency Management, offer demographic data on real-time emergency event areas, comprehensive reports, a historical event archive plus flexible analyses and visualizations.
