Every five years since 2010, World Statistics Day is celebrated around the world by the global statistical community. This World Statistics Day, we’re joining the United Nations in honoring the importance of trust, authoritative data, innovation and the public good in national statistical systems. Tapping into this year’s theme of “Connecting the world with data we can trust,” we’re highlighting ways the U.S. Census Bureau continually innovates and evolves to meet the needs of our complex world.
Watch a special video message from Steven Dillingham, Director of the U.S. Census Bureau, celebrating World Statistics Day. The Director discusses critical data products, such as the Pulse Surveys, that help inform policy that advances and improves our world.
