Census Bureau has released an interactive mapping tool using 2008-2012 ACS 5-year estimates. The new application allows users to map eight different social, economic and housing characteristics of their state, county or census tract, and to see how these areas have changed since the 1990 and 2000 censuses and the 2008-2012 ACS 5-year estimates.
2008-2012 ACS 5-year Narrative Profiles (BETA) are available for state, county, place, Metropolitan/Micropolitan Statistical Area, ZIP Code Tabulation Area, American Indian Area/Alaska Native Area/Hawaiian Home Land and census tract. Narrative Profiles summarize many topics using nontechnical text and graphs.

We are excited to announce the release of 3-year Social, Economic, and Housing Comparison Profiles. This first release of 3-year Comparison Profiles will give a side-by-side comparison of 2010-2012 ACS 3-year and 2007-2009 ACS 3-year estimates. The profiles also contain the statistical significance column that indicates if the estimates are statistically different (at the 90% confidence level). Access the 2010-2012 3-year Comparison Profiles on American FactFinder.
