The Census Bureau identified a problem in the collection of data on the availability of telephone service in certain counties in 2015, 2016, and 2019. The data collection problem occured during computer-assisted personal interviews only.
In 2015, the problem was identified in the following counties: Lonoke County, AR; St. Johns County, FL; Campbell County, KY; and Portage County, WI.
In 2016, the problem was identified in the following counties: Champaign County, IL; New Hanover County, NC; Robeson County, NC; Richland County, SC; Collin County, TX; and Hidalgo County, TX.
