The Census Bureau identified a problem in the 2020 collection of data across multiple topics in Wyandanch CDP, New York and Brentwood CDP, New York. The collection problem occurred during a limited number of computer-assisted personal interviews only.  

Data users should use caution when comparing 2016-2020, 2017-2021, and 2018-2022 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates for the affected geographies. The 2019-2023 and 2020-2024 ACS 5-year data products will be suppressed for Wyandanch CDP and Brentwood CDP and nested geographies. A list of affected geographies is available to download.

Estimates containing 2020 data will be suppressed in future 5-year Comparison Profiles.

Data in the 1-year and 5-year Public Use Microdata Sample (PUMS) files are unaffected by this error.
