Citizen Voting Age Population (CVAP) Special Tabulation from the 2007-2011 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates

The data files, in both CSV and SAS formats, are posted through these links. The zip files contain the CVAP documentation along with nationwide files for the following geographies:

  • Nation
  • State
  • County
  • Place
  • MCD (Minor Civil Division - only for CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT, MI, WI, NJ, NY, MN, and PA)
  • Tract
  • Block Groups

The 2007-2011 American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates and this CVAP special tabulation created from those estimates use the same geography source. The reference date for all geographies in this product is January 1, 2011. 

NOTE: The Place CVAP table in the CSV version of the 2007-2011 ACS 5-year derived data was incorrectly showing the data from the 2006-2010 ACS 5-year derived data. This was corrected on May 31, 2013. This did not affect any other geographies or any of the SAS versions of the files.
