2010 PUMA Reference Maps

The file names for the 2010 Public Use Microdata Area (PUMA) Reference Maps are composed as follows:

DC10PUMA<ss><ppppp>_<###>.pdf

where:

<ss> = 2 digit state code

<ppppp> = 5 digit PUMA code

<###> = map sheet number

  • '000' = Index sheet
  • '001' – '999' = Parent sheets
  • 'A01' – 'Z99' = Inset sheets

 

Example file names:

DC10PUMA0608303_000.pdf = California, Santa Barbara County—South Coast: index sheet

DC10PUMA0608303_001.pdf = California, Santa Barbara County—South Coast: parent sheet 1

DC10PUMA0608303_A01.pdf = California, Santa Barbara County—South Coast: inset area A, sheet 1
