Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Health Resources and Services Administration, the National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses examines the characteristics of registered nurses and their experiences in the nursing field. The U.S. Census Bureau is responsible for the NSSRN data collection. The survey is in its eleventh cycle. The 2022 NSSRN was the second administration of the survey by the Census Bureau.
