Users of the enrollment data should be aware that the universe is based on respondent’s age at time of interview (EAGE).  This means that some people who were less than 3 years old during the reference year are included in the universe for enrollment data.  Users may want to use the monthly age variable (EAGE_EHC) when comparing age groups from the SIPP 2008.
