The components of TPEARN have changed between the 2008 and 2014 panels.  In the 2008 panel, TPEARN included severance payments (T15AMT).  Although severance payments are still collected at the annual level in the 2014 panel as part of TLMPAMT, they are no longer included in monthly earnings as part of TPEARN.
