For users referencing previous downloads of SIPP data dictionaries or using legacy code, there were errors in the variable names for allocation flags associated with EDEBT_CC, EDEBT_ED, EDEBT_OT, TDEBT_CC, TDEBT_ED, and TDEBT_OT. The errors were present in the 2014 SIPP Panel and the 2018-2022 SIPP data dictionaries. Updates are now reflected in SIPP’s online codebook and downloadable data dictionaries. The correct allocation flag variable names are listed below as well.
