2014 Panel Wave 3: Marital Status Allocations for Children

May 30, 2019

Children under the age of 15 are not in universe for the interview month marital status variable (EMS). However, the allocation flag for this variable is incorrectly set to allocated (AMS=3) for this age group. This is different from wave 2, when this allocation flag was incorrectly set to 1 (reported) for this population.
