2014 Panel Wave 4: Problems with Relationship Data

 

There is a small number of cases where there are inconsistent relationships among people. These include inconsistencies between pairs of people in monthly relationships (RRELs) across time, or between monthly (RRELs) and interview month relationships (ERELRPE) for parent and child type, grandparents and grandchildren, and siblings.  A subset of cases have inconsistent ages for grandchildren.
