Statistics of U.S. Businesses (SUSB) provides annual data in spreadsheet format.

  • U.S. and state annual tables available for 1992 and 1997-present, Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) tables added in 1997, county tables added in 2000, Congressional District (CD) tables added in 2015, and U.S. Territories tables added in 2020.
  • U.S. and state employment change tables available for 1997-2016, county employment change tables 1999-2016, and MSA employment change tables 2002-2016.
  • Limited historical data available upon request.
