Does the American Housing Survey (AHS) collect data on evictions, home repossessions, or foreclosures?

The AHS allows the response of "foreclosure/eviction" when asking recent movers why they moved. The 2013, 2017, and 2021 AHS includes a topical module on doubled-up households that has some questions about foreclosure and eviction in the last 3 months. Data are available in the Housing Migration table and the Delinquent Payments and Notices table. In addition, the 2023 AHS includes a table about Housing Insecurity which asked similar questions with a different time frame (previous 12 months). All of these tables are included in the AHS Summary Tables package and AHS Table Creator.
