The American Community Survey started using the 2018 Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) system with the 2018 ACS data products (released in 2019). ACS data products from 2010 through 2017 used the 2010 SOC system. Lastly, 2005 through 2009 ACS data products used the 2000 SOC system.
