New Tables

 
Demographic Variables
  • The Demographic Comparison Profile, CP05, is a new table for the 3-year release. It compares 2011-2013 ACS estimates on Age, Sex, Race and Hispanic Origin with 2008-2010 ACS estimates.
Race
  • There are nine new Detailed Tables published for racial groups. These tables include additional detailed information regarding American Indians and Alaska Natives (AIAN), Asians, and Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders (NHPI). These new tables will replace Detailed Tables B02005, C02005, B02006, C02006, B02007, and C02007.

Poverty
  • One new Detailed Table (B17020) accounts for various age breakdowns by poverty status. The new breakdowns include: Under 6 Years, 6 to 11 Years, 12 to 17 Years, 18 to 59 Years, 60 to 74 Years, 75 to 84 Years, and 85 Years and Over.

Modified Tables

Race
  • The Demographic Data Profile (DP05) and Demographic Comparison Profile (CP05) were modified to account for additional detailed information regarding American Indians and Alaska Natives (AIAN), Asians, and Native Hawaiians and Other Pacific Islanders (NHPI).
  • The following race iteration groups were added to the 2013 ACS Selected Population Profiles (S0201) with codes noted in parentheses: Alaska Native tribes, specified, alone (187); Alaska Native tribes, specified, alone or in combination (493); American Indian tribes, specified, alone (278); American Indian tribes, specified, alone or in combination (193).
Foreign Born
  • One line in Detailed Table B05006, "Azores Island," was added.
  • Two Detailed Tables (B05006, C05006) and the Selected Population Profiles (S0201) were modified to move South Sudan from "Northern Africa" region to "Eastern Africa" region. We posted one table shell, B05006, as an example of this change.

Educational Attainment
  • There are 19 tables with various labels that were modified to be "High school graduate (including equivalency)." These tables include: B14005, C14005, B15001, B15002, C15002, C15002A-I, B23006, S1811, S2702 and S2702PR. We posted one table shell, B14005, as an example of this change.
  • The labels for Detailed Tables B15002A-I were changed from "Graduate degree" to "Graduate or Professional degree." We posted one shell, B15002A, as an example of this change.

Deleted/Removed Tables

Race
  • Detailed Tables B02005, B02006 and B02007 have been deleted, as were Collapsed Tables C02005, C02006 and C02007. Tables B02014, C02014, B02015, C02015, B02016, C02016, B02017, B02018 and B02019 are available alternatives.
Foreign Born; Citizenship; Year of Entry; Nativity
  • Collapsed Tables C05003A-I, C05005PR, and C05011 have been deleted. Detailed Tables B05003A-I, B05005PR, and B05011 are available alternatives.
  • In the Selected Population Profiles (S0201), the "Other" and "Not Elsewhere Classified" categories for country of birth were removed.
Household Relationship; Marital Status
  • Collapsed Table C11001A-I, C12002, and C12002A-I have been deleted. Detailed Tables B11001A-I, B12002, B12002A-I are available alternatives.
Educational Attainment; School Enrollment
  • Collapsed Tables C14006 and C15001 have been deleted. Detailed Tables B14006 and B15001 are available alternatives.
Poverty
  • Collapsed Tables C17020A-I have been deleted. Detailed Tables B17020A-I are available alternatives.
Income and Earnings
  • Collapsed Tables C19001, C19001A-I, C19037, C19037A-I, C19101, C19101A-I, C20005, and C20005A-I have been deleted. Detailed Tables B19001, B19001A-I, B19037, B19037A-I, B19101, B19101A-I, B20005 and B20005A-I are available alternatives.
Food Stamps/SNAP
  • Collapsed Tables C22002 and C22007 have been deleted. Detailed Tables B22002 and B22007 are available alternatives.
Housing
  • Collapsed Tables C25014, C25015, C25016, C25020, C25023, C25027, C25032A-I, C25043, C25050, C25054, C25061, C25066, C25072, C25073, C25079, C25080, C25108, C25110, C25112, C25114, C25115, C25116, C25117 and C25123 have been deleted. Detailed Tables B25014, B25015, B25016, B25020, B25023, B25027, B25032A-I, B25043, B25050, B25054, B25061, B25066, B25072, B25073, B25079, B25080, B25108, B25110, B25112, B25114, B25115, B25116, B25117 and B25123 are available alternatives.
