New Tables

Housing

• Two new Detailed Tables provide estimates for homeowners’ association and/or condominium fees. Table B25142 shows data for monthly homeowners’ association and /or condominium fee. Table B25143 shows data for median monthly homeowners’ association and/or condominium fee by mortgage status.

Race

• Six new Detailed Tables provide estimates for the White and Black or African American population. Tables B02022 and C02022 show data for the White alone population for selected detailed White groups. Table B02024 provides data for the White alone or in any combination population for selected detailed White groups. Tables B02023 and C02023 show data for the Black or African American alone population for selected detailed Black or African American groups. Table B02025 provides data for the Black or African American alone or in any combination population for selected detailed Black or African American groups.

Modified Tables

Disability

• Two row labels in Subject Table S1811 were modified in the Commuting to Work section to align with updates to transportation categories. The row label “Public transportation (excluding taxicab)” changed to “Public transportation.”  The row label “Taxicab, motorcycle, bicycle, or other means” changed to “Taxi or ride-hailing services, motorcycle, bicycle, or other means.”

Health Insurance

• An additional row was added to Subject Table S2703 to include subsidized marketplace coverage.

 Journey to Work and Migration

• The row labels or titles for many tables were modified from “Taxicab” to “Taxi or ride-hailing services.” In other instances, the reference to “Taxicab” was removed. Quality Measures

• Detailed Table B98021 is now available for congressional districts in addition to nation, state, and county.

Race

• The universe label for Detailed Table B02018 was modified from “Total Asian alone or in any combination population (the total groups tallied)” to “Total Asian alone or in any combination who reported one or more responses.”
• The universe label for Detailed Table B02019 was modified from “Total Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander alone or in any combination population (the total groups tallied)” to “Total Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander alone or in any combination who reported one or more responses.”
• The universe label for Detailed Table B02021 was modified from “Total American Indian and Alaska Native alone or in any combination population (the total groups tallied)” to “Total American Indian and Alaska Native alone or in any combination who reported one or more responses.”
• A row for “Afghan” was added to Detailed Tables B02015 and B02018.
• Rows were added to tables DP05 and CP05 to include detailed White and Black or African American groups. The detailed White groups added were “Egyptian,” “English,” “German,” “Irish,” “Italian,” “Lebanese,” and “Other White.”  The detailed Black or African groups added were “African American,” “Ethiopian,” “Haitian,” “Jamaican,” “Nigerian,” “Somali,” and “Other Black or African American.”  

Veterans

• Row labels in B21002 and S2101 were changed from “Vietnam Era” to “Vietnam War.”

Year Householder Moved In

• Changes were made to the top end of the distribution for Year Householder Moved into Unit. The top three categories were changed from “Moved in 2021 or later,” “Moved in 2018 to 2020,” and “Moved in 2010 to 2017” to “Moved in 2023 or later,” “Moved in 2020 to 2022," and “Moved in 2010 to 2019” to better capture recent movers, whose unique characteristics can be useful for housing analysis.
  • Detailed Tables modified that include these changes are B25026, B25038, B25109, B25110, B25113, B25114, and B25128.
  • Other modified tables include DP04, CP04, and S2502.
• Categories in Detailed Table B25129 were changed from “Moved in 2018 or later” and “Moved in 2010 to 2017” to “Moved in 2020 or later” and “Moved in 2010 to 2019.”

Deleted Tables

Health Insurance

• Subject Table S2713 was deleted as it was mostly duplicative when compared to S2703. The additional subsidized marketplace information that was in this table was added to table S2703.
