Housing
  • Four new Detailed Tables provide estimates for solar panels.
    • Table B25144 provides estimates on solar panels by units in structure for all housing units. 
    • Table B25145 provides estimates on solar panels by tenure and units in structure for occupied housing units. 
    • Table B25146 provides estimates on solar panels by the year the housing unit was built for all housing units. 
    • Table B992526 provides estimates for allocation of solar panels for all housing units.
  • Three new Detailed Tables provide estimates for sewer systems. 
    • Table B25149 provides estimates on sewer systems by tenure for occupied housing units. 
    • Table B25150 provides estimates on sewer systems by units in structure for all housing units. 
    • Table B992528 provides estimates for allocation of sewer systems for all housing units.
  • Three new Detailed Tables provide estimates for electric vehicles. 
    • Table B25147 provides estimates on vehicles available by electric vehicles for occupied housing units. 
    • Table B25148 provides estimates on tenure by vehicles available and electric vehicles for occupied housing units. 
    • Table B992527 provides estimates for allocation of electric vehicles for occupied housing units with at least one vehicle.

Modified Tables

Educational Attainment
  • The rows for "No schooling completed," "Nursery school," and "Kindergarten" are no longer available in table B15003. They have been replaced with one row for the updated category "Less than grade 1."
  • The first two rows for tables B15002 and C15003 were modified from "No schooling completed" and "Nursery to 4th grade" to "Less than grade 1" and "1st to 4th grade" respectively.
Housing
  • The universe label for Detailed Table B25046 was updated from “Occupied housing units” to “Occupied housing units with at least one vehicle.”
  • The home value categories in Detailed Table B25075 have been modified to expand the range of values in the lowest categories, reduce the range of values in the categories around the median to decrease clustering, add additional higher value categories, and increase the highest value category to “$3,000,000 or more.” The modifications to the categories are the following:

Characteristics of the Group Quarters Population

Changes were made to the categories of year of entry for the foreign-born population in group quarters.

  • The three categories changed from “Entered 2010 or later,” “Entered 2000 to 2009,” and “Entered before 2000” to “Entered 2020 or later,” “Entered 2010 to 2019,” and “Entered before 2010,” respectively.
  • These changes appear in tables B26211, S2601A, S2601C, S2601CPR, and S2603.
Citizenship Status, Year of Entry
  • Rows in tables B05005, B05005PR, B05007, and C05005 have been updated from “Entered 2010 or later” to “Entered 2020 or later” as the highest category and from “Entered 2000 to 2009” to “Entered 2010 to 2019” for the second highest category. Other categories have also been modified accordingly.
  • Rows in tables B05015, CP02, CP02PR, DP02, and DP02PR have been updated from “Entered 2010 or later” and “Entered before 2010” to “Entered 2020 or later” and “Entered before 2020,” respectively.
  • Columns in Subject Tables S0502 and S0502PR have been updated from “Entered 2010 or later,” “Entered 2000 to 2009,” and “Entered before 2000” to “Entered 2020 or later,” “Entered 2010 to 2019,” and “Entered before 2010,” respectively.
  • Rows in tables B05008, S0503, S0504, S0505, S0506, S0201, and S0201PR have been updated from “Entered 2010 or later,” “Entered 2000 to 2009,” and “Entered before 2000” to “Entered 2020 or later,” “Entered 2010 to 2019,” and “Entered before 2010,” respectively.
  • The row in table B05011 for “Naturalized 2015 or later” has been deleted. It has been replaced with two new rows for “Naturalized 2015 to 2019” and “Naturalized 2020 or later.”
Age and Sex
  • Three rows in Subject Tables S0102, S0102PR, S0103, and S0103PR were updated in the PLACE OF BIRTH, NATIVITY AND CITIZENSHIP STATUS, AND YEAR OF ENTRY section. The row "Entered 2010 or later" changed to "Entered 2020 or later." The row "Entered 2000 to 2009" changed to "Entered 2010 to 2019." The row "Entered before 2000" changed to "Entered before 2010."
