County Business Patterns (CBP) has been produced as a consistent, annual series since 1964 and ZIP Code Business Patterns (ZBP) since 1994.

The most current CBP data are for reference year 2023. We do not have a planned release date for our 2024 data at this time. The Census Bureau is evaluating alternative approaches to comply with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s administrative order prohibiting the use of noise infusion. Updated guidance will be provided once plans are finalized.
