The 2018 CPS-ASEC data include corrections to errors discovered in some of the core-based statistical area (CBSA) coding and status indicators, which were not made to some earlier data. Therefore caution is recommended when comparing metropolitan migration data from 2018 with earlier metropolitan migration data.
