American Community Survey

Direct single-year estimates of health insurance coverage from the American Community Survey, starting for SAHIE 2008 estimates.
Annual Social and Economic Supplement of the Current Population Survey

Direct estimates of health insurance coverage from the Annual Social and Economic Supplement (ASEC) of the Current Population Survey (CPS).
County Business Patterns

Subnational economic data by industry, including the number of establishments and employment.
Demographic Population Estimates

Postcensal demographic estimates of the population of states and counties, by age and group quarters status.
Federal Tax Returns

Data summarized from federal individual income tax returns.
SNAP Benefits Recipients

Number of recipients of SNAP benefits (formerly known as the Food Stamp Program).
Medicaid Participation

Number of individuals enrolled in Medicaid by age and sex.
Children's Health Insurance Program Participation

Number of children enrolled in the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) by state.
Decennial Census

Housing tenure counts (i.e., owning, renting) and urban/rural population counts from the most recent decennial census.
