Verification Phase Program Materials

The Verification Phase is an opportunity for state mapping coordinators to confirm that the U.S. Census Bureau correctly applied updates submitted during the Annotation Phase. The Census Bureau will not accept new updates during the Verification Phase.

Beginning in April 2026, verification files will be posted on this page on a flow basis for states that submitted changes during the Annotation Phase. State mapping coordinators will receive an email notifying them the school district verification files are available for review along with the deadline for submitting corrections.
