The Census Bureau releases the official disability estimates each year from various surveys; the American Community Survey (ACS), the Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC) from the previous calendar year, and the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP).
The sources of the data published on census.gov are the Census Bureau and other federal agencies, if applicable.
