American Community Survey (ACS)
The American Community Survey is the premier source for information about America's changing population, housing and workforce.


American Housing Survey (AHS)
The AHS is sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau.


Building Permits Survey (BPS)
The purpose of the Building Permits Survey is to provide national, state, and local statistics on new privately-owned residential construction.


Housing Vacancies and Homeownership (CPS/HVS)
Provides current information on the rental and homeowner vacancy rates, and characteristics of units available for occupancy.


Manufactured Housing Survey (MHS)
The Manufactured Housing Survey (MHS) is sponsored by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and collected by the Census Bureau.


New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey (NYCHVS)
The New York City Housing and Vacancy Survey (NYCHVS) is conducted every 3 years to comply with New York state and New York City’s rent regulation laws.


Rental Housing Finance Survey (RHFS)
Provides current and continuous measures of financial, mortgage and property characteristics of multifamily rental housing properties in the United States.


Survey of Construction (SOC)
Provides data on starts, completions, characteristics of new, privately-owned single-family & multifamily housing units, & on sales of new single-family houses.


Survey of Market Absorption of New Multifamily Units (SOMA)
Collects information on amenities, rent or sales price levels, number of units, type of building, and the number of units taken off the market (absorbed).
