Does the American Housing Survey (AHS) collect data on the number of apartments converted to condominiums (and vice versa)?
HUD publishes a series of reports and datasets, called the Components of Inventory Change (CINCH), that include information on units that change from owner-occupied to renter-occupied at a fairly high level of aggregation.
