County Business Patterns Reference Files

County Business Patterns (CBP) data in comma-separated value (CSV) format can be downloaded from the CBP Datasets page.

CBP industry references are by North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for 1998 to the current reference year. CBP publishes 2- through 6-digit NAICS industries. Prior to 1998, industry is by Standard Industrial Classification (SIC).

Industry References

Geography references are by standard FIPS codes for state, county, Puerto Rico & Island Areas, Combined Statistical Area (CSA), and Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
