The core TIGER/Line Files and Shapefiles do not include demographic data, but they do contain geographic entity codes (GEOIDs) that can be linked to the Census Bureau’s demographic data, available on data.census.gov.
All legal boundaries and names are as of January 1, 2022. Released September 30, 2022.
The 2022 vintage includes the new county-equivalent planning regions in Connecticut. As a result, metro and micro areas, combined statistical areas, metropolitan divisions, New England city and town areas (NECTAs), combined NECTAs, and NECTA divisions are not available in the current vintage. Refer to earlier TIGER/Line releases for these geographic areas.
User note on Congressional and State Legislative Districts in Geographic Products.
