Census of Manufactures: 1947 — MC203, Fuels and Electric Energy Consumed
A report combining data as issued in volume I of the census reports with two special tabulations by industry group within State and by county within State.
Data are shown on fuels consumed and electric energy purchased and generated; quantity and cost totals for United States, 1947, and earlier census years; for 1947, by industry groups and industries; by manufacturing industries for divisions and States; by manufacturing industries for States by industry groups; by manufacturing industries for States and counties; gas consumed for fuel in manufacturing industries by type of gas; fuels used as raw material for further manufacture, and fuels made and consumed in the same plant.
